Introduction

Known as “red gold”, Saffron is planted primarily in some parts of the Iranian province of Khorasan. Golestan saffron is pure with a pleasant smell. Its color is scarlet with a bitter flavor. The finest saffron is the one that comes from Sargol in Khorasan Province. It is available in packs of different sizes.
